The watercolor "Traffic Lights" (1974) is an impressive example of artistic collaboration, the joint work on this piece, and the mood of the time. The painting shows a nighttime railway scene with many signal lights and tracks. Painted in dark, muted colors, it captures the nighttime atmosphere in an almost maze-like structure. Diffuse light sources and blurred outlines create an almost surreal mood.  

    The 1970s were a time of change, both politically and socially. Therefore, the painting can also be seen as a tribute to the industrial development of that time. The congenial collaboration of the artist couple Gretsky reflects the collective spirit of the time when community and cooperation were valued.
